posted by: Jayne - Fan Relations

NEEDTOBREATHE were invited to play a couple of songs at the NASCAR Nationwide and Camping World Truck Series, held at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel. The awards ceremony will be shown on SPEED TV at 8pm Nov 29th and repeated at midnight Nov 30th. We don’t know if the band’s performance will be a part of the TV show or not.

I love that you guys still take the time to answer questions and comments. Don’t lose that personal touch as you grow huge and take over the musical world (let’s face it….it’s gonna happen). =)

Never let Yahweh become secondary, and never let the drums stop punching out a beat for us to move to!

Saw you guys in Huntington, WV a couple months ago as a Birthday present from my worship team. I saw you once before at the House of Blues at Disney Walk about 2 years ago. Keep it up! Will you be releasing “Difference Maker” as a single any time soon? Simple yet inspiring song. I really appreciate the lyrics in the bridge. Thanks for all you do.

Hey, you guys need to come back to Montana sometime!!!!! Preferably soon!!! I know it must be hard to justify a show in a state that has a smaller population than the average New York City apartment building, but we do have some pretty cool sites to offer. Yellowston, Glacier, great skiing, the small town experience… seriosly, here you can choose any town you want for that :-) . When you guys were here a while back in Missioula it was quite possibly the best musical experience I’ve ever had the pleasure of witnessing. If…what am i saying…When you do come back, though, you should deffinetly stop in a town like Bozeman or Kalispell. Our other cities may have more pull with their size, but these two are by far the nicest with close access to the best Montana sites/activities.
Ok, I ll admitt it, this a little self serving, but i love your guy’s music, and you have the great tallent and commitment of sounding even better live than on a recording. And Spokane and Boise are both at least 6hr. drives from me. We do also have some cool stuff to see in Montana, though…

    Needtobreath,

I have loved the song “Keep Your Eyes Open” since the moment I heard it. I got the chance to see your show in Baltimore at Rams Head Live and was even more impressed. Y’all are even more amazing live. But I am writing today with a heavy heart. About a month and a half ago my cousin was diagnosed with cancer. The first song to pop into my mind was “Keep Your Eyes Open”. I am not sure where your inspiration came from when writing this song but I cannot help to find it as anthem. As long as my cousin keeps his eyes open and fights there will be a chance. Every ounce of this song screams to me “Don’t give up”, “Fight with all you have”. And as long as he fights I will be there to fight with him. I continue to pray each day for recovery but I also play this song every day to remind myself to fight for and with him. Thank you for you music and thank you for the inspiration.

May God bless and I will be in attendance anytime you are in the area.

Thank you for all you do,
    Danielle
